Formula Checks Suck

Is it just me or do 90% of cashiers have no idea what a Similac/Enfamil formula check is? I have to explain that it typically needs to be processed as a check, not a coupon. They look all over for the barcode that doesn’t exist and it is clearly a check. They look at me like I have two heads and the floor supervisor also has no clue. Eventually they trust me enough to at least try, as the system says yes/no now (everything is digital). These checks are mailed en masse, so I would assume that a reasonable portion use at least the higher value ones.

I switched the the Similac app, which provides codes/coupons I can use online and at self checkout but still get random straggler checks in the mail.

Is this just in my area or is this everywhere?

Trump Account IRS Notice

I got the IRS notice and I am confused. I used the electronic form on the app to make a Trump account and apply for the $1000 seed money. The account opened fine after a few days, but I got this notice that it’s super vague. Anyone else run into this exact circumstance and have a solution?

Edit: Tried calling the IRS and you literally are not allowed to transfer to a human to dicuss Trump Account elections. I called the Trump account hotline and they said this IRS notification was likely an error, as they received approval from the IRS to open the account and they show the $1,000 contribution approved and pending deposit.

Ordering Directly from RingConn is a buzzkill

I would love to have a review of the ring - but it has been stuck at an airport in Hong Kong for the past 3 days. Amazon didn’t have my choice in stock and didn’t realize it would be shipping from overseas if I ordered directly from RingConn. For a $370 item, I shouldn’t have to wait more than a week to receive it.

RingConn should put some kind of disclaimer on their site regarding the international shipping.
