Making some weirdo little kewpie fruit guys and I use a stamp to make the face impression. I baked and then used a Posca marker to fill it in and tried to wipe away the excess paint but it turned into a mess. Any tips?
I’ve been a licensed hairdresser since 2015 and went back to college last fall. I really started to hate doing hair for a lot of reasons and hit my breaking point in April. Quit my salon and started working retail at the mall. It was going good at first — decent hours and good co workers. Then my hours dropped dramatically (from 25 to 13 to a whopping 9 hours next week, lmao), my manager admitted to “overhiring” and was just banking on the fact some of us will quit and/or get second jobs. And I just feel like a huge loser. I’m the oldest person at my job by like 10 years — all my managers are like 23-25 and I feel like a loser. 32yo in two weeks and nothing to show for it except carpal tunnel in both wrists and $60 in savings. I’m studying English which is the only thing I’m good at but probably won’t get me anywhere tbh. My fiancee is the best thing in my life, I’d truly be destitute and lost without him, but it feels like I don’t even deserve him or the lovely wedding he’s paying for next year. I’m just rly sad, ya’ll. Gonna mope around tonight and try to feel better tomorrow.
