Hi. My husband is about to go to boot and I'm trying to prepare incase he has to PCS overseas.
We would *really* like to go to Japan if its an option, but I'm scared that I'll get denied in overseas screening for my mental health history.
I haven't been on medication for over a year and haven't seen a therapist in several years. My PCP would be willing to write a statement saying my mental health is good and I no longer need medication or therapy.
Has anyone got denied or had to appeal for this? Just trying to get perspective. I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder in 2022.
