Did you witness a hit and run in Peabody today between 12-1?

This may be a shot in the dark, but I’m trying to help a family member track down a possible black SUV that rammed into his BMW on Walnut St Peabody this afternoon. The perpetrator did briefly get out of his vehicle and handed my family member a written down phone number, but did not stay on the scene to exchange any other information and sped off in his smoking car. Family member tried to call the number he was given and found out it was fake.

This family member was in shock when it happened so he cannot recall what the man looked like and was not able to get the exact make, model or license plate. The only reason why we think it’s a black SUV is because the paint left on the bumper is black, and the position of the impact is higher than a normal sedan.

Police were contacted and a file will be opened. Family member is feeling sore and in the hospital getting checked out.

I want to help them if I can. Any information no matter how minor would be helpful. Any push this can get would be appreciated as well. Thank you.

My (30F) boyfriend (32M) has been messing up my sleep, need suggestions

I’ll start by saying I (30F) value sleep to a very high degree. I need to get 8 (or more) hours, anything less and I feel totally off the next day. I have always slept alone and I have never been in a long term relationship where I’ve shared a bed and/or stayed overnight with a partner, up until recently.

My boyfriend (32M) of 3 months moves around a lot in his sleep, snores or makes light sounds, and this completely distracts me when I’m trying to fall asleep. Just when I think I can start focusing on falling asleep, I’ll hear his breathing start to get louder and the snoring will start, which will pull me back from the progress I made and start feeling awake again. I’ve only slept over at his place about 4 times now, and I’m just not getting used to the act of sleeping with someone else.

He’s done his best to accommodate; I gently explained first time I stayed over that I could hear him snoring and felt him moving around. He apologized and he said he’d try to do his best to avoid snoring excessively by working on his own sleep schedule. It’s been better since then, but light snoring and the constant moving is still happening. Additionally I told him I sleep best in a dark room. So the next time I stayed over, he made sure to pull his curtains closed and even offered me a sleep mask. I’ve taken CBD gummies to help get me to relax and fall asleep but the dosage that actually works causes me to hallucinate and makes it hard for me to truly fall asleep, then I wake up feeling groggy and out of it (on top of already being off from not getting 8 uninterrupted hours).

My must-have for when I am eventually married and live with a partner, we will have our own separate bedrooms. My question is, though, what can I do now to make things better? I want to enjoy spending the night and sleeping with my partner, but not sure if that’s possible at the moment as he only has the one bedroom.
