Fully disappointed with ASUS has had my laptop for 17+ days with no diagnosis or ETA. Looking for advice.
Fully disappointed and wasted.
I'm looking for advice from anyone who has had a similar experience with ASUS support.
I'm facing a recurring Wi-Fi issue where my laptop loses Wi-Fi after waking from sleep and turning it off entirely the Wi-Fi Icon as well. This isn't the first time I've reported it.
Service history:
- First repair: The service center informed me that a Wi-Fi-related hardware component was replaced. The issue returned.
- Second repair: The operating system was reinstalled, which erased all my data. I accepted it, hoping the issue was resolved, but it returned again.
- Third repair (current): The laptop has now been with the ASUS service center for over 17+ days.
I've contacted customer support multiple times, escalated the case, and even reached out to the executive support team. Every response has been generic template, saying the laptop is with the engineering team. I still haven't received a diagnosis, repair status, or an expected completion date.
as a software engineer, this laptop is my primary work device, so the delay and lack of communication have been frustrating.
has anyone experienced something similar with ASUS? How long did it take to resolve, and is there any other escalation path that worked for you?
I'd appreciate any advice or shared experiences.
