Any tips?
Most likely yes, because I filed on the 9th for new claim for migraines that was previously denied when filed secondary to tinnitus and neck strain.
The new claim I filed was secondary to my bipolar 2. Which I have a dx for both migraines and my bipolar is service connected.
I put in A LOT of evidence and work into this claim. Lay statements. Buddy letters. Migraine logs. And a nexus that connects my condition to migraines.
Well I went to go look tonight for an update and I can’t find it anywhere! Was I supposed to file it under supplemental vs. new?
Please help.
Had a mental breakdown at work today. I suffer from bipolar and I work for the VA. In mental health. The irony.
It’s been building up for a while now. I tried to not let it show. I went and sought help. A video call with a MH provider who changed my meds and asked if I could pick them up at another clinic 30 minutes away. She really tried to help. I told her I would. She asked the saftey questions. I lied. I came home instead.
I’m probably going to fired. I have no sick leave left because I’ve been calling out a lot. I’m so embarrassed that everyone saw me that way.
My husband was at the door and held me. Told me everything was going to be alright. He went to get my meds for me.
First thing I did when he left was check the gun lock box and it’s empty….
Don’t know if I’m relieved or disappointed.
Idk. This will probably be deleted.
What do I do now?
If I file for migraines and IBS secondary to my MH rating of bipolar, could they lower my MH rating? Wondering if I should try or not.
I do have diagnoses for both. Working on getting them linked to my mental illness at the moment.
I received my MH rating finally approved about 6 months ago. Should I push for 100% or not poke the bear. I’m worried they will lower my rating.
If I should what other evidence should I present? I just drink everyday, thinking about going PRN at my job because of the stressful environment. The VA did an alcohol metabolite on me for medication use and labs came back positive for alcohol and high levels. I’m burning out.
Thank you for the help in advance.
