Pre-approval letters with partial SINs, ID copies at showings, open-house sign-in sheets, and then lender, broker and lawyer email chains on top. That's a lot of your identity sitting in a dozen inboxes. Has anyone seen that data handled badly, or do you have a system for keeping it contained?
Hi everyone, I needed to receive a wire transfer from India, so I went to an RBC branch in person to make sure I got the correct SWIFT details. A few days later, the wire was rejected. Customer service looked into it and told me the branch actually gave me the wrong routing number (the US one)! Fed up, I opened a Wealthsimple account on my phone in 5 minutes and got my wire info instantly in the app. My takeaway: avoid RBC for anything important. They’re fine for everyday cash transactions, but not when it actually matters.

I just wanted to give some pointers. First of all, read the jurisdiction carefully. Be ready to recite all reports by the OPC, and know about the history of the law and how it has evolved. The exam is verbal, so if you are a slow reader, focus on your reading skills.
