This is the ONLY community I’ve seen actually fall apart. There are fandoms for games that have been defunct before I was born, pieces of media that don’t exist anymore, media that’s older than anyone currently alive. Incredibox isn’t a fandom anymore, we’re more like a fan club at this point. I’ve seen bigger fandoms dedicated to specific ships. This fandom is the size of a small town and we’re all constantly ready to tear each other limb from limb for no real reason. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a less harmonious fandom ever. It’s no wonder so many people are leaving.
Red: Not super hardcore but maybe industrial, maybe hip hop. Best comparison I can think of sound wise is Dirty Harry by Gorillaz, though maybe with a pinch of ghost train percussion wise
Orange: orange makes me think of happiness, so it would be super happy but preferably chill, Lo-fi pop works best. I don’t have anything to compare it to but I don’t really need one, you know what lo-fi sounds like.
Yellow: SUMMER BABY! Yellow is the color of sun, sand, lemonade, and overall the color that I think of when I hear warm. Upbeat and happy! I think Spru-what version1, buzz or meow are the best comparisons i can think of.
Green: Literally just what bagger did the first time, bro nailed green first try :)
Blue: not to go with the obvious option, but I feel like a sad song coulda worked. But personally I would’ve gone with pretty much just Solarbox Neptune or sepbox aqua, pirates bro.
Ourple: Purple is the color of luxury and magic! Grapes, expensive clothing, space, allat. So something magical and ethereal would be a great fit. Something akin to space island or starhenge from MSM:DOF would be perfect.
Pink: Colorbox pink sounds honestly the least like its color of every colorbox. Pink is THE whimsy color, light and cheerful is the name of the game. Something like Living Island by Pogo or Abissama by Incredible polo
Brown: no notes, doodoobutt silly shit, though I feel it wasn’t silly enough.
Black: that one section of Azarus’s black revamp mix with Connor as the focus, have that be the whole vibe. Intense and intimidating
Grey and white are both perfect, peak color association. Grey is sad, white is heaven.
Tan: MORE COWBOY SHIT! I love country music, especially country rock. I feel it would’ve worked great for tan rather than just this western small town vibe.

1). Dont add or remove polos every loop unless the loops are long. Changing polos around constantly makes the mix feel incohesive and prevents from hearing a polos sound in full consecutively, which is less satisfying
2). Don’t use wind ups constantly. The point of a wind up polo is to build up to a drop so the sudden change doesn’t feel awkward, but using a wind up without a change in sound just feels awkward, why build up to nothing?
3). [this one’s just something I find neat] have a section that’s just the beats/percussive polos (+bass if you want) It’s very fun especially after a vocal drop {See ClenLeons Catacombs mix for an example}
4). Probably the most important for me. Focus a vibe for each section if not a general vibe in the mix {That one section of Azarus’ colorbox black remix where it’s all intense for example} this helps make it feel more like a song and less like a compilation of sounds

Crystal islet is genuinely good! Yeah it might not be what you hoped for but that doesn’t mean it’s bad! As someone that has musical experience it’s better composed than mech islet, more interesting sounding than plasma and fills space better than shadow. Not saying those are bad, Im saying none of them are. I feel like yall just want something to be mad about because everything has been going too good around here. Yall expected S+ from an A game, got an A and treat it like an F. It’s not that big a deal and it’s not even bad.
