What do feminists regard as the worst thing about Margaret Thatcher's legacy?
I know that Margaret Thatcher is not considered a feminist or a feminist icon, in fact, its quite the opposite. Thatcher herself once said: "The feminists hate me, don't they? And I don't blame them. For I hate feminism. It is poison."
Considering that people still discuss the negative aspects of Thatcher's legacy to this day, what would you say is a particularly negative aspect of her legacy that has had a harmful impact on feminism?
For example, I know that many people in the LGBT community would point to Section 28, while critics of capitalism would likely point to the privatization of state-owned companies. But from a feminist perspective, what exactly is considered the most damaging part of Margaret Thatcher's legacy?
