Room Occupants Change

Hi all,

My wife and I were supposed to travel with another couple to Sandals Royal Barbados in 2 weeks but the wife of the other couple found out her husband is having an affair and they're no longer coming.

We want to bring my wife's parents as our friend has offered us their room and we'd pay her back later. However, she booked through a travel agent who is saying no changes can be made but we feel like that's just ridiculous.

Is this something that our friend can change by reaching out to Sandals directly? I know Sandals can make these changes and I'm confused as to why the travel agent is denying this option.

Any advice or insight would be helpful.

Small dog ate 3 inch piece of corn cob 18 hours ago

Our small dog we're fostering managed to consume a piece of corn cob. I caught him chewing on it and when I tried to stop him he ran off with it. It already looked quite a bit smaller due to his chewing on it. When I caught up to him he had consumed the rest of it. We induced vomiting 45 minutes later with hydrogen peroxide. All that came up was chewed up pieces of corn cob.

It's now been 18 hours and we've been monitoring him with no change in activity or apetite. He has been eating and drinking as per usual. No signs of discomfort or vomiting.

When will we know he's in the clear?

Good deal?

Curious, I haven’t seen this for less than $50.
Sent the picture to a friend at a wine store and he advised me to buy as much as I could.

My Mother, Scotland, Z7II, 24-70mm f4 kit lens

My mother is 73 and is showing the early signs of dementia. Visiting Scotland has been a dream of hers since she was a girl and she's been telling me about it my whole life.

I took this photo in a forest in the Scottish Highlands, when she sat on a rock to catch her breath during our trip a few weeks ago. Being able to make her dream come true while capturing it with this great camera has been profoundly meaningul to me.

While the Z7II is no flagship camera, I've been impressed by it and the 24-70 kit lens. It's perfect for my needs.

Finally made it to the UK to pick this up.

Ordered about 2 minutes after seeing the announcement that Sonny was leaving, before they could take it off the website. US tariffs were going to make it too expensive for delivery so I just had my brother hold onto it.

Will probably get it framed.

My first RG

As the title says, my first RG. But also my first attempt at panel lining throughout and applying a clear coat. Overall a fun but challenging build, with some poorly applied decals. Some decals also decided to hop off my tweezers and yeet themselves into oblivion never to be seen again.

I suck at posing, so this is as good as it gets from me.
