Born Maps Update

How often are map updated 'pushed' to the 2025 Born? On my Audi it used be every 4 weeks ago- but I 'feel' the maps on my car are more out of date. I don't recall seeing a message to say the maps have been updated.

I'm with Scottish power and one their EV optimise tariff

I've noticed that if you set it to 80 per cent and set target they the car normally reaches the target about two hours before the selected time

Then the charger seems to feed a trickle charge as if it's keeping the car topped up.

Is this a behaviour people have seen with tarrffs like octopus or scottish power's

I have had the car for a couple of weeks and noticed something odd when the car is around the 19 - 20% level.

Example:

Tonight - arrive home - battery level 19%.

Plug car into charger. Schedule charging cuts in - the shedule is min 20% max 80%

Can does not start to charge - even if less than 20%.

Then - this is the odd bit - if you look at the Cupra App - the battery % has plummeted to 16%, and then charging starts up to 20%.

Question - is there a reason why there seems to be a rapid decrese (over 15 mins) to 16% - only for it to then charge to 20%.

I have a Cupra with 'Plug and Go' activated, and notice that this setting is present in other apps - 'Electroverse'.

I assume you can't have this activated at the same time in two apps - is that correct? If you can, which has the priority?

What is most people's choice for a 'Plug and go' app?

I have been insured with Direct Line for many years for my ICE car.

I purchased a new EV this weekend and phoned Direct Line to change the insured car.

When I did, I was told the the compulsory excess was going up from £100 to £350, as that is there standard excess for EV cars now

Is it just Directi Line with such a high standard excess or are all cal companies doing this

How long does the key battery last with keyless entry? Does it give you some type of warning? My last car had a message on the dash warning of a low key battery

Is there a way to turn off the sound permenatly when you exceed a spped limit.

I can see how to turn it off - but it seems to reactivate when I restart the car.
