Hi folks! My goal is to average 8k+ this week since i'm going to have a relatively busy week.
Also, i'd love to walk some new trails. Will share how i feel about those new ones once i completed the step challenge!
What's your step goal this week?
no step target this weekend, just go somewhere new. a different street, a park you always drive past, whatever. drop a comment sunday night with where you ended up. that's it, that's the challenge!
i'm team night walk because my brain is soup before 9am. but morning people seem weirdly happy about it. which one are you and why?
some weeks i feel like i need one full couch day to survive. then i see people with 300 day streaks and feel like a fraud. how do you all handle rest days, guilt free or full panic?
am i right fellas ??
new month, fresh start. drop your step goal for august below and we'll keep each other accountable all month.
no pressure on the number, pick something that's a little bit of a stretch for you. any tracker welcome (fitbit, garmin, apple, pacer, whatever you use).
i'll go first: aiming for a 8k daily average this month, currently getting wrecked by rainy days lol.
what's your goal, and what's your biggest obstacle to hitting it? 🏅
drop your step count for the day below, doesn't matter if it's 3k or 30k, we're all just trying to move a bit more.
feel free to add how you got there or what got in the way. rainy days, desk job, whatever. this is the place to keep each other honest.
i'll start: 2895, mostly from grabbing lunch with my coworkers. what'd everyone else land on?
Been doing my 10k in a beat up pair of old running shoes and my arches is crushing... Everyone online says get Hokas or Brooks but they're like $140 and I don't fully trust a recommendation that unanimous.
What are you actually wearing every day? And if you bought the expensive ones, did they fix anything or did your feet just toughen up anyway?
Office days I get to 10k without even trying. Then I work from home and it's 9pm, phone says 3,400, and I'm just standing in my kitchen feeling bad about it.
People who figured this out, what actually stuck? Walking pad under the desk? Fake commute in the morning? Pacing around during calls like a weirdo?
And I mean stuff that survived past week two. I can do anything for one motivated week lol.
A community for everyone chasing 10,000 steps a day. Share progress, ask for tips, and find some friendly accountability. All trackers welcome.
