My sister forgot a walnut fudge box we bought from Srinagar while travelling back, and she’s been really upset about it 😭

Currently in Gurez Valley with family on our 2nd day here. Tomorrow we need to return back to Srinagar (Friday), probably leaving around 2 PM max because driver says returning late via Razdan Pass can get risky/tiring.

Locals are suggesting another route towards Tulail Valley/Satpora side (they said Tulail fully may not be open but Satpora side is possible). They’re asking around ₹4000 extra for union cab.

Alternative option is just local Gurez sightseeing (~₹1500) covering:
- Habba Khatoon
- local villages/market
- viewpoints
- riverside etc.

We already loved the route and vibe here, and honestly Doodhpathri didn’t go well for us because we reached too late, so don’t want to miss the best parts of Gurez too

So is Tulail/Satpora actually worth the extra time + money for a short trip? Or should we just properly explore Gurez itself slowly tomorrow morning and leave peacefully by afternoon?

I’m going for a very short Bir trip from Delhi mainly for paragliding and had a few practical doubts.

1. ⁠While one person is paragliding, where does the partner usually wait?
   - At Billing (top takeoff point)?
   - Or at Bir landing site below?
2. ⁠Is GoPro footage usually included in normal tandem packages or charged separately?
3. ⁠Any trusted operators you’d genuinely recommend for safety? That’s my biggest concern honestly because my feed is suddenly full of Bir paragliding accident videos 😅
4. ⁠We’ll reach early morning by bus — any good cafés/hotels where we can freshen up/change before activities?
5. ⁠Best timing for safest and smoothest flight? Morning or sunset slot?

I’m currently in Delhi preparing for CAT, but planning to move to Trivandrum around June for the rest of my prep.

I’m planning for self-study (not coaching)

Looking for

* Good PG (with proper food)

* Nearby reading room / library

In Delhi right now, I do have access to library + familiarity, but facing issues with:

* food consistency

* extreme weather (peak summer from June)

* distractions over time

* How easy is it to find PG + library nearby?

* Any areas you’d recommend?
