The commentariat here should be grateful for Klosterman since he's the closest thing they have to a surrogate

He used to do this all the time in the BS pod era where he would directly ask Bill about how he felt about his fame and place in the culture. He brings it back today talking about the Rewatchables, what other guest is going to say to his face:

- You guys are pretty weird about tom cruise

- You've turned heat from underrated to overrated

- You all seem to like 'stars' more than actual acting

- It seems like you've helped create this culture where you just endlessly consume the past as content so you can index and dissect it

He wasn't being a dick about it and it was a fun conversation but who doesn't wish someone would actually bring all this shit up to them and who else would actually do it on the podcast.
