How to increase model 3 range
I’ve seen allot of range issue questions so maybe this will help our new fellow Tesla owners.
I own a 2022 model 3 AWD long range with ryzen and acceleration boost.
I have Michelin defenders and they drag wh/ mile a bit but last longer.
1: tint your car, set the ac 68+ adjust on outside temp.
2: get shades for the panoramic roof
3: don’t use brakes, only emergency, don’t tail gate, keep distance.
Make sure your psi is as it should be
4: if you try to stay below 70mph your range excels.
( I know it’s tempting to race around, I catch my self doing it allot lol)
Regen when you can on downhills, I usually speed up a little and let the padel go a little bit to coast and regen.
I get total miles 285. But I’m usually 190-240 on average wh/mile.
This test was from DFW airport to Addison TX. It’s mainly highway.
Just drive cool and relax and you will get allot of range from your Tesla :)
