Hi all! We are planning to fly SEA to LHR round trip this year, debating how to book. We have some points we can utilize at a decent redemption with KLM or Virgin Atlantic. However, the round trip would put us at silver status for Alaska if we book with cash, and the flight cost would be around $1100 per person so not terrible. Is it worth it for the silver status, or should we just utilize our points elsewhere?

Also worth mentioning we get 5x points with our credit card, so will get points on the cash booking with both Alaska and Cap One.
