our 1 year old dalmatian is pretty small but apparently breed standard for females at 45lbs, 22” tall and 30” long nose to base of tail. we are buying a ruffland for our 18 hour drive to move, but will be using it for the car in general and it would be a plus if it works for home as well. she seems to be between the intermediate and large, so I took some pics of her in the intermediate and wanted to see if anyone has any advice on fit here?

my roommate left a potted plant without a drip tray on this (very expensive) dog crate. It stained in a couple places (pictured) and I know how to do some restoration but this crate is like a bent wood ply situation and I feel out of my depth. I just tried to sand it and got through the veneer and the first layer of ply getting rid of the mold stain, it went so deep. what do I do now? any hope of fixing? I do a lot of building things but this is above my skill level. would love to fix it so that I can keep using it without getting steamed every time I look at it!
