First owner. Got this during the factory seconds sale in December. Never got around to modding it.

No cut no carry. Visible issues include the “melt” look on the butt of the FRN scales, and a slight gap on the back of the scales (see pictures)

Knife functions and works perfectly fine. Blade shows no signs of damage/issues.

I have a very old Kershaw Beacon 2430TCKTST black tanto half serrated blade.

I am the first owner of this knife, probably bought about 20 years ago at Big 5 when I was a teenager. I can’t find much on this knife other than it was an exclusive to big 5 and it’s from Kershaw’s “budget” line.

This is a solid knife, lockup is perfect, flicks out smooth, factory edge, no cut no carry. I just don’t see myself ever using this and have no reason for it to collect more dust.

I thought of this idea while at an ice cream shop after dinner. My daughter was starting to fuss while waiting in line for ice cream and I realized I didn’t have anything on me to distract her. She’s teething and I figured what a good idea to be able to pull something off my wrist and give it to her?

I went home and ordered a few teether straws off Amazon and tied one to a bracelet. Never looked back.

Hope this inspires other parents. It’s a lifesaver, and also probably at least a little safer than a set of dirty car keys we use to get when we were kids :P
