Seat memory and temporary adjustment

I feel dumb asking this, but in the Polestar 2, there were physical seat memory buttons. They were actually really helpful in cases where I needed to move the seat for some reason (like having a snack in the car), and then wanted to put it back.

In the 3, beyond the position being saved to the user profile, is there a way to store a specific position in case I want or need to move the seat temporarily?

Flex upgrade + trade in deals?

Am considering adding flex upgrade for 10/mo per device when doing our next phone purchase. But the terms have a line that says you then become ineligible for monthly billing credits as promos going forward. So can someone explain the benefit of this to me versus just paying the true up to 50% to trade in early, in which you also don’t get the trade in credits?

Recurring phone audio problem

25 P3 Performance, Orin chip, 3.0.33. iPhone 17 Pro, iOS 26.6

I’ve only ever had the car with the Orin chip and fairly new software (.28 and .33), and I have this recurring problem with phone audio where the audio is not routed correctly. This can be true even if other phone audio like music is working fine.

Symptom is simple: I try to make a phone call and can’t hear the ringing nor the person when they pick up, and they also can’t hear me. It’s just silence.

The only fix seems to be rebooting the infotainment system via the play/pause button, but I’m not enjoying needing to do this every few weeks.

Anyone else have this problem? I do have CarPlay enabled.

Anyone else tried the voice amplification?

We were transporting a friend around today so decided to try the voice amplification feature. Sheesh it’s trippy! On high especially it is absolutely wild. My partner was doing whole car ASMR 😂. Even on low though we decided not to use it the whole trip as it’s a little echoey and we didn’t really need it. But neat to try nonetheless!

Decided to go for it

Upgrading my P2 to P3 performance with nappa. Incredible deal. Couldn’t pass it up honestly. Already has the new chip and so far things are working well. Fingers crossed!

Random ? though: does the US model come standard with a jack kit or no? I don’t see one in the car. Thanks!

Would I be a fool to get a P3 now?

My 2 lease is coming up in 3 months and I was presented with an amazing deal on a P3 Performance. I’ve always loved the design and drive of the P3. I know there have been lots of problems and from that perspective it would be a gamble, but when things are working well, these cars barely need any service at all.

So, what would y’all do Reddit? Be a standout and take a car that will likely be some of the last here in the US, or get something else? No one else is making cars that look or drive anything like Polestar right now imo.

P2: SiriusXM showing track info again

Looks like the SiriusXM or Home Screen app was updated to be able to show track information again on the Home Screen on P2 with software version 5.x. Thank goodness!

And I say that as an owner and a shareholder. It would help them move a significantly larger amount of inventory. And it’s kind of a bad look to be offering perpetual incentives of 18-20k off.

Because they’re incentives and not actually lowering MSRPs, the residuals for leasing are based off the true MSRP. But they’re not holding. For current P2 drivers like me, it means essentially no flexibility for early trade, as the cars are all completely sunk in negative equity. I don’t envy the bank and insurers who are covering the losses at turn in.

They do have a small pull ahead offer fight now, but they won’t allow combining with Tesla conquest even though we have one in the household. So if that offer is used to pay off the current lease, for a well spec’d P3, you’re still leasing against almost 70k with a payment ~1k a month. I’m sorry, but even with as much as I love the brand, that’s just bananas.
