A-Pillar cover popped out - doesn’t snap back in.

Couple weeks ago I dropped off my T to have the front and side vents repaired as they didn’t move when adjusted on the screen. I was told that to repair that, the entire dash has to come out. I assume the A-pillar covers had to come out too.

After I got the truck, I noticed the large speaker grill (against the windshield) was dented and another big rattle appeared when going over moderate bumps. So started taking a closer look and realized that by gently pushing on the pillar cover, it just pops right out. The opposite side also does burnout as much as this one.

If I try to put it back into place - nothing snaps; I don’t feel a clip or anything catching on. So I assume damaged?

I already have a new ticket with my SA at the SC I go to but good lord, is it just bad design or careless techs?

R1T/S - Does the speaker grill supposed to have indentations?

Hey gang - picked up my T from the Milpitas (CA Bay Area) service center where they replaced all dash vents (center and sides), which requires disassembly - and now I have these dents on the grill.

I don’t recall seeing them before, so want to see if anyone else has them, or whether they dented the crap out of mine :(

Thanks!

New Alpha JX2 nozzle stuck

Hey gang - new bidet installed but as you can see, there a plastic piece that’s twisted and preventing the nozzle from coming out. Is this a defect or a shipping lock that isn’t mentioned in the installation manual (or something I missed)

Antigravity + Gemini Flash = blocked executing agentic works?

Hi all - disclaimer: IT professional but not a software engineer/coder etc.

Background: I needed to do a batch configuration on a bunch of endpoints accessible through one single resource. I've used Antigravity with Gemini Flash (I am subbed to Gemini Pro) to log into that endpoint and poke around - read-only style work, but using the contents of a script to use as reference as far as what needed to be done.

Today I asked it to write some setting changes (very explicit setting changes, on a very specific endpoint as a test to make sure it doesnt mess up) by logging into the that single resource and then configuring the endpoint. It outright refused - literally stating it cannot do it because it's a security risk, this and that -- these are all within my own environment, I have all the creds, it was not a hacking attempt of any kind.

So then I swap from Gemini Flash to Claude Sonnet within AGY and Claude is like #HoldMyBeer

What am I missing here? Some setting or is Gemini being just crazy cautious?

BioBidet Slim 3 stuck in turbo mode

Hey folks - I’ve had this BioBidet unit for about 6 years now and about 2 months or so ago, the regular spray strength got weak enough that I started using turbo mode more often.

Today, the regular spray and turbo mode were practically non existent - a trickle at best. I power cycled the unit and it defaulted to turbo mode regardless of what mode you use - front, back, gentle… strength adjustments don’t work at all.

What’s worse is that during nozzle cleaning mode, it spray full blast too (ask me how I know…). I tried powering it off for 2 hours but no luck.

Not before I toss it - anything else I can try?

Thanks!

Hey folks - some of you may remember my original post where I created an aviation weather station using an e-ink display with a ESP32. There have been some questions about how things were done and if I could share the source code - well the wait is over! Code can be found over at github (my first submission!)

As a reminder - this is entirely vibe-coded in Gemini with me product managing it; I am not software engineer and have zero practical experience in software engineering. If you adopt the code - I am not responsible for anything going boom :D

For those wondering - a single full charge on a 2000 mAh LiPo battery charged to 4.2v will last you about 38 days assuming 2 refreshes per hour!
