Curios about traveling planes

In Planescape: Torment, there is a dimensional traveler named Candrian, and it suddenly made me curious.

During conversations with this NPC, Candrian mentions having traveled across various planes (Baator, Avernus, the Prime Material Plane, and so on). So, within the lore of TRPG D&D and the video game itself (though of course you can’t actually see it in gameplay), is it possible to start from Sigil and then travel into the worlds of Spelljammer or Baldur’s Gate or any other planes?

I used to play this game a long time ago, but back then I had to quit because of schoolwork(hell, it's been almost 10 years ago lol) . After a very long time, I finally played the EE version and managed to see the ending. Whether this is the greatest game ever depends on each person, but for me, it left a lingering impression after the ending, and it’s the best game I’ve played since Disco Elysium.

I thought of a few things that felt a bit lacking while playing the game. despite that, it was fun game.

It's off-topic, If I were to remake this in the distant future, I’d want to do it like this (I wish there were a chance hehe.)

  1. When touching sensory stones, instead of showing text, have actual video sequences play. That would provide a more engaging gameplay experience.
  2. Add affinity and morale systems for each character to enrich the gameplay. For example, if Morte and Annah become close, they could joke around with each other and gossip about companions they don’t get along with. Party members with bad relationships could grow even more hostile or, alternatively, become closer through dialogue and other interactions. The current game already has banter between characters, but what I’m imagining goes much deeper.
  3. I would expand the romance with Annah or Fall-from-Grace into more diverse forms. Right now, after the kiss with Annah, there’s no further interaction, but if I were to make it, I would develop the romance much further.
  4. Adding post-ending stories for party members: Annah, tired of life in the Hive and disliking Fall-from-Grace, still longs for new experiences. In her ending, she goes with Fall-from-Grace to her brothel. Of course, Morte tags along with her. Dak’kon, on the other hand, sets out on another journey, writing down the stories he has lived through.
  5. Adding the new maps. Lady's ward, Market's ward in sigil and other planes to explore.

p.s. Do you remember Quell? While playing the game, I laughed a lot during gameplay. What stuck with me the most was the choice where the TNO picked up and ate the candy that had popped out and fallen to the ground while Quell was speaking. His way of talking was also hilarious, which made the whole interaction even more memorable.

Anyway, this game was the greatest of my life. 11/10
