? About ice water & paper
So whenever we lay ice and water on the bottom run, it goes over top of the drip edge. Which although makes sense for layering/wicking, it doesn't make sense for having a permanent layer on the entirety of the bottom run, that protects it from rot => the drip edge section, which is prone to the most damage.
Instead we could layer ice and water, then drip edge, then a paper layer that goes over top of the drip edge (covering the same area as the ice and water).
Why is this not a standard way to do it?
