Delta Reservoir 2.0 Blue/Grey Mother of Pearl <Steel Broad> A2 condition. This is a beautiful blue resin of varying shades of blue and grey with the traditional silver trim work and gorgeous Delta band. This reservoir pen is very cool because you fill a “reservoir” with a syringe or pipette that is cartridge-like and screw it into the section like a Leonardo screw in cartridge. You also get a spare that has a metal cap for travel in case you need more ink. The reservoir is very well made and sturdy and so is the metal cap. I was looking to preorder the Pelikan m600 Georg Tippel Art Collection at the same time reading a post on here about PacificPenWorks. I’ve never heard of them so decided to give them a try due to the positive comments here, despite usually using Atlas, PenBoutique, Gold Spot, and Goulet.

I was not disappointed.

First their communication is fantastic. I had a bit of confusion over some payment and invoices I received and they immediately responded and confirmed everything was fine and there were no issues.

Second, they tuned the nib as part of their checkout process for FREE. I’m not sure if that was due to price point or type of pen, but during checkout they asked several questions about how you like to write, how you write, and how you wanted the pen to write. I usually am very leery of this because I don’t think most stores tune the nib, despite you putting notes in the checkout. The only ones that do with confidence is Kirk Speer from Pen Realm and Emy from PenVenture. Most others I’m sorry I don’t trust they do based on experience. Anyway, I know PacificPenWorks did because they included a page of writing and how they tuned it for me!

If you want to give another store a try I highly recommend it.

Also, the pen, as expected, is wonderful. The m600 art series pens are a bit heftier than a normal m600 and the barrel art is just stunning in person. The pictures don’t do any of the pens in the collection justice.
