Classic Black and White Movie Name
I’m looking for this black and white movie about a guy and girl - one is from the city and the other from the country and they each show the wonders of each world.
One specific scene I remember is them being in the grass/wheat and seeing the city lights with a carnival going in the sky. It was very surreal and beautiful but I can’t remember the film.
I also watched a classic film documentary on hbo that had the film in it. Any thoughts?
Solved: Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans
Horror Movie about a man stuck inside a building/skyscraper and fighting for his life against supernatural phenomena trying to kill him
I want to say this is an 80s movie, the man is roughly middle aged so 50/60.
The beginning of the movie I believe starts out in a bathroom and that’s when he discovers strange things are happening. It is inside an office skyscraper. He is also wearing a suit.
Another scene I remember is he gets to a parking garage and a bunch of cars start driving themselves at him trying to kill him.
I am almost positive this is an 80s movie because of the cars and the way the film looked. I can’t remember why this is happening but I think it had to do with someone cruel or evil he did and this is kind of “payback”
Film Negatives
Hi! Im a collector of film negatives and am also a huge Dylan fan so I was wondering if anyone is aware of any websites that may sell negative film of his pictures.
I’ve tried looking up some old photographers of his (Goldsmith/Landy) but am just coming across prints. I’m sure something like what I am looking for is out there!
The Graduate vs. Midnight Cowboy
I’m not asking what is the better film - I don’t like ranking art like that. More in line with different categories each film appeals to you more.
Culturally - which had the bigger impact on the film scene and counterculture of the youth
Cinematography - which had the better cinematography
Storytelling - which story appealed to you more? How so?
Acting - which gave greater acting performances?
EDIT: Want to add in a soundtrack/use of music category
If you had to compare Dustin Hoffman in the 60s/70s to an actor today, who would it be? Not solely in terms of acting ability but also culturally
I ask because I am trying to understand how he fit in with society (specially the young baby boomers) and what people thought of him across the board.
Was the Barracuda popular in the late 60s?
I see Camaros get way more love but I personally think this is a cooler car
