4 WW2 tanks that are still WIP, still in the shop

M4A1 Sherman - American medium tank, first deployed in late 1942. Renault Char D2 - Somewhat obscure, mid 1930s french tank, used in the 1940. T-26 Mod 1938 - based on the Vickers 6-ton, used extensively in 1941. Tiger 2 / King Tiger - German late war heavy tank, used from 1944 until the end of the war in Europe

I am working on recreating the WW2-era Matilda 2 tank. Here's some early WIP footage

Matilda 2 was a british infantry tank used in WW2. I'm recreating it

The engine sfx are authentic, scaling might be off here and there and it's not fully detailed or painted. It's early WIP after all

Some features like the periscope view are just a gimmick for the video, proof of concept. Turret interior is partially modeled, but only the basics to keep thermo low (surprisingly, it doesn't take up as much thermo, only like .2 or .3%)

Whole vehicle sits at 6% thermo or so at the moment, will likely climb up to 8% once it's finished

Okay chaps, this will be my last Valentine tank post I swear! Almost 2 minutes of footage

Tank was finished and has been published. I took it for a spin in my desert-themed level. Almost 2 minutes of driving, bumpy terrain, shooting explosive barrels and tank targets

An older version of my desert themed level is playable, I'll update it soon

Infantry Tank Mk III Valentine. Finished. Published. 8% thermo

Creation link here: https://indreams.me/element/oRXFpTjmewG

Took a while to finish this project. I'm satisfied with the outcome Pictures can only show so much. I'll likely record new footage of this thing driving and shooting, so you can hear the new sfx I've added

More british tanks will follow. I want to make the Crusader, Matilda II and more tanks that the BEF used in WW2, especially during the fighting in Africa. Other than that I'd also like to make the Churchill Mk III. Can't forget the Churchill tank

Footage of my Valentine Mk II Tank. Animated suspension. Still WIP

Vehicle is still WIP. Some details are missing (The armor was bolted together afaik, so I need to model that) and I'd like to change some sfx and other things on this. Other than that this thing is finally moving towards completion.

I had some trouble animating the suspension. John Beech told me a while ago that keyframes always have a delay of one frame if the object is attached to a moving object. So the object looks like it's lagging behind. I had to use some workarounds. Looks okay in the end if I say so myself

early WIP screenshot of my TopDown zombie shooter project in DreamsPS5

Originally made in LBP3 and LBP PS Vita, Battle with Zombies was a topdown zombie shooter where you had to fight endless waves of zombies with different guns, bombs and gadgets. You had access to a shop where you could buy player skills, better weapons and gadgets like a turret to help you fight the zombies. The second image shows the UI of BWZ7 in LBP Vita

I recently decided that this series shouldn't end in LBP. So I started development in Dreams. It's coming along nicely. It's early WIP

While this shooter is entirely unrelated to my WW2 tanks, I decided to place my Panzer 3 a few times for comparison xD

Stay tuned!

Comparing an older version of the game to the recent version. Visible microstuttering in the newer version

Ever since the infamous update in May 2026 the game felt like it was not as smooth anymore. So I looked at older versions and they don't have that problem

I recorded all footage in 1920x1080 @60fps, same circumstances. Not visible in the video, but the framerate and frametimes were similar in both versions. Even without vsync and higher framerates, the issue persists in the recent version of the game

Which leads me to believe that the walking animation of the current version was maybe compiled at 30fps or so?

It would be great to get some insight from a developer (If that's even possible). I also hope it will be fixed in the July update.

EDIT: I figured reddit would keep the footage at 60fps instead of downscaling to 30fps. I'll upload the comparison to youtube, it's 60fps there. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBk_MnuhAyg

(If this goes against the TOS of this subreddit, please let me know, mods

How the devs could fix the eye adaption problem with the Journal

Hi there

So we all know the issue with Eye Adaption and the Journal, which is no longer on screen, but in front of you and in 3D-Space. Because of the journal being very bright, eye adaption overcorrects brightness and when you close the journal, everything is dark for a good 8 seconds or so

It's a well known complaint. But there is a simple solution. So simple in fact that one developer could fix this problem within minutes (Or a few hours if you include compiling that new version build in Unity)

The solution: Go into Unity, shader parameters, and make eye adaption twice as fast. A solution that requires slightly more effort: Make eye adaption much faster whenever the journal open, hold, and close animation are playing. After that, speed can return to normal or 2x as fast as currently

It's been a few yrs since I used Unity, but afaik, you should be able to just change shader parameters in Unity itself. Instead their solution (for console players) is to... add an option to remove eye adaption?? What are we doing here, man...

Reading this full text of mine takes longer than changing the shader parameters btw.

If a developer or the community manager reads this, please consider this simple lightweight solution. I'd hope that this could make it into the July update. That is all

[Fo4] mdkd's cooking addon

I've published a mod that adds recipes related to the wild crops you find in the world. By cooking them in the cooking station, you can make regular crops.

Example: Wild tato flower + wood, cooked at the cooking station = regular tato that can be planted in a settlement or used in another recipe

The mod has a few other recipes related to cooking oil, vegetable starch, cutting fluid and glass bottles

It's published on Nexusmods: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/105593

Let me know your thoughts :)

[FO4] Recently published a new version of my castle retexture - here's a comparison between vanilla and mine

Vanilla textures are alright :) But I like mine a lot and I have been told by others that my retexture is beautiful

Let me know your thoughts. They're published on Nexusmods btw
