Hearing Aids in The Philippines

Okay, loud noise is a pretty common thing here. I assume there is a ton of aural damage here and I wonder if Filipinos get hearing aids or do they just live with it?

Also, what brought this up was noticing the Trike Divers with the large sound systems playing the exact same music at unheard of decibels. I would imagine driving around all day with that would do serious damage.

Business opportunity? Perhaps.

Qatar Airways “Miracle Flyers”

Saw this post and made me laugh. There is a large portion of people from one country who roll up to a QA flight in a wheelchair to get on the plane first. Now, I don’t disparage anyone with disabilities, but….

Amazingly, during the flight there is a MIRACLE and they can suddenly walk on their own again. As a matter of fact they run off the plane pushing and shoving to get off first. I see this all the time flying from Doha to the US. Make it make sense. 😂

Honest question

As someone who is selling their wares here in Qatar, what is it about the obsession with Free Delivery? Folks don’t get free delivery from Talabat. Why me? I am almost to the point that I should increase my prices and offer free delivery since it seems the mentality is they are “winning” if they get free delivery. Now and then I will have someone choose to do the pickup only to figure out what that would entail and then change their mind and pay for delivery.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
