NFS Unbound backport hanging on initial load screen 4.03?

Hi all,

As per title - succesfully backported and copied to internal storage using Itemzflow, with backport.elf running and Kstuff 1.6.

When booting, I can see the debug window confirm the backpork.elf running and Kstuff "paused" whilst attempting to boot the game, but the game itself seems to be stuck on the initial/opening window/splash, just displaying the NFS Unbound logo.

I would assume given the notification that the backport was successful in the debug window that NFS Unbound is compatiable with 4.03 (after said backport).

Same behaviour with Shadowmountplus, attempts to load and then just stops on the initial loading splash.

I've attempted to boot the game from Itemzflow from both a USB SSD and copying to internal storage and it still doesn't boot.

I found this thread which speak of a way of converting the files into an FFKPG image, but before wasting more time trying to get NFS Unbound to work, I thought I'd ask here first!

Thanks!

Tahoe 26.2 volume control, why is this happening?

I'm sure we're all very much aware that the entire of the macOS, tvOS and iOS launch of 26 and Tahoe has been utterly woeful from a bug and glitch point of view.

I've now got the most ridiculous bug in which I try and adjust the volume using the keyboard keys, and the balance shifts?!

Tried a restart, all the basics - any advice would be greatly appreciated.

BMW 840i (G14 Cabrio) sudden grinding/crunching noise when rolling down

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a 2020 BMW G14 and the passenger window has started acting up. It's been (only sometimes) fairly sluggish when rolling up or down, but I thought this could just be a voltage thing.

Had the car parked for 2 days and now all of a sudden, when rolling it up or down, it struggles (and stops) and makes a pretty nasty grinding/crunching noise. The movement sounds like something is binding or slipping inside door?

I now can't get it to move down anymore than around an inch before it grinds to a halt (quite literally).

Is this something I could tackle myself if I remove the door card and have a little look around? The few times I did get it down and back up, I did notice some scratches on the base of the window near the mirror.

Thanks!

Acquired 2.20 PS5, safe to update to 5.00+ for Linux support?

Hey all,

Long time lurker and finally got my hands on a brand new and sealed 2.20 PS5 Disk Edition.

After all the news surrounding linux, I'm assuming it's possible for me to update the system software from 2.20 to 5.00 via the PS5 safe mode? I've been Googling around and it seems possible, but can't seem to find any definite answers - do Sony incorporate some kind of online check during update, similar to iOS to prevent updating to older versions?

Thank you!

Hi all,

About 7 years ago I replaced and registered the battery on my non-LCI F20 118d using ISTA/Rheingold without any issues.

Now I need to do the same on my LCI F20 120d (11 years old, same battery, slow crank, no warning on the dash). This time I’m running Windows 10 LTSC on a MacBook via Bootcamp, so storage is a bit tight.

ISTA/Rheingold seems to be working fine without programming data - I can connect to the car and access the battery registration service plan.

Just wondering - do I actually need the programming data to register the new battery if it's identical or a close spec?

Thank you!
