I have a 2002 BMW z3 2.5i (non-M) Roadster, and I came back from a drive to find my rear roundel missing. There was glue residue that I cleaned, and I ordered what I thought was the replacement badge. is the bottom part of the old roundel still attached, or did I buy the wrong replacement? I don't want to pry at anything until I'm absolutely sure.
Hello everyone, I am considering purchasing a manual transmission 2006 Aston Martin V8 Vantage with roughly 85,000 miles on it. I'm 19 years old, and was hit by a drunk driver, and my car was totaled and I was injured. My settlement is roughly 40k USD. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, and I daily a 5 spd 1990 Mazda Miata, which I'm having to repair all the time 😂. I want to buy this car but I am more so scared about the parts cost than the labor, because I have the equipment to DIY the majority of maintenance. I wanted to ask for advice before I get in over my head. This car has been a dream of mine since I first learned about Aston Martin's while watching Dr. No at 9 years old 💀 . With my job, I can afford the insurance, so its really the parts that im worried about. I know that Ford owned AM at the time, so it has a lot of Ford and Jaguar parts. Anyone have any advice? EDIT: I really appreciate the advice from everyone. I honestly do think I would be in over my head if I bought one now 😭. I might have to hold off on getting one. Maybe a FC RX-7?
I was wondering if it was possible to wire up IR lights to a toggle switch that would blind Flock cams but I could keep them turned off to allow police and toll cams to still scan it. Since Flock isnt a government entity, they can't do anything about me blinding them, correct?
