I’m used to packing for all possible weather - have had an Upper Peninsula trip in August vary from mid 30’s at night to almost 100 in just 6 days 😂. But we are going to IL, MO, NE, a southern tip of SD, upper Mississippi River valley, and IA for the next couple weeks. Will I be over packing if I toss a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt in the bottom of my bag? I do take a light sweater for restaurants, and will have a light rain coat too.

Are most restaurants and stores in Canada adding on credit card fees? Seems like everywhere in USA is, but we don’t really want to carry that much cash for a trip!
