First Fold phone for me. Is there a way to make Youtube, Netflix and other streaming apps full screen when unfolded without the Black Bars? I can fill by pinching the screen but it distorts the picture. I tried settings in apps and foldable display without luck. Thanks in advance for any help.
I freakin love it! I have zero regrets of cancelling my Z Fold 8 Ultra order and purchasing this. This is my first fold so there has been a little learning curve, but coming from S25U, it's all worth it.
The battery is amazing like people have stated. I use my Anker 140W charger to charge the phone and Turbospeed is unbelievable. I kept saying to myself: "Why can't Samsung do this"?
The fingerprint reader is next level and so damn fast. I'm rocking a Thinborne case for daily driver and a Cenmaso case with hinge protection if I'm worried I could drop the phone out in the world. Good case but suffers from the rest with the magnet not lining up for wireless charging.
I struggled a bit with email and couldn't get Google Mail to consistently notify me from all my emails e.g. yahoo, gmail, outlook etc. I installed Edison mail and will be paying for that app as it's amazing and works flawlessly. I am getting all my email and text notifications on my Galaxy 8 Classic watch and they render better than when I was using the S25U. Very strange to me.
I am learning the gestures (the flashlight is awesome) and using three panels and split screens when unfolded simultaneously just blows my mind! To have Youtube, my client scheduler and a game open at the same time side by side is just next level.
I do miss the Samsung calendar. I tried the stock Google one and hate it. Any recommendations for an easy calendar that still works with google calendar would be appreciated.
I also haven't figured out how to get rid of apps on my home screens without uninstalling them.
I love the Moto Pen that came with this and use it quite often. The battery is amazing and just wish I didn't have to carry it separately. I see why people said to make the move and you probably won't look back.
Any recommendations for a premium animated wallpaper app would be appreciated.
I cancelled my Z Fold 8 Ultra order last night after being disappointed in their offering and continuing to see positive reviews on the Motorola Fold. I purchased the Motorola Fold last night and feel good about it, especially with the S - Pen coming with it and the difference in price.
My question: Anyone use the ZOOM app on this phone and what has the experience been like? I'm a Psychotherapist and from time to time, I need to use my phone to do Telehealth with clients via Zoom. Just curious how the video and sound are.

For those who switched from a Samsung phone to the Motorola Fold: I have really only 2 concerns: All my Samsung Notes and will my scheduled appointments in Samsung Calendar transfer over?? Is there an easy way to convert Samsung notes to whatever the Moto Fold uses??

I have downloaded the nsp to this game from 3 different places, all the same size about (16gb) and it doesn't show in Eden or Citron.
The prod keys and firmware are the latest and match. I've been sure to rescan games in Cocoon.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? If I try to run from within Cocoon, it just says no bootable game present.

Like so many posts I've read in my research, I have been a long time Samsung user (since Note 4) and am extremely disappointed with the direction Samsung has been going. I have an S25U and was so hyped about the Fold 8, but the frequent rumors about the new Samsung phones not having S-Pen support is a deal breaker. I'm a therapist and rely heavily on the S-pen to take notes when talking with various providers and use often for daily living. For clarification, I really only the use the Pen for notes.
My question for people who have come from Samsung and/or people who just use the S-Pen frequently with their Motorola: How much of a difference will I notice between Samsung and the Motorola Fold??
The Motorola Fold looks solid, has great user reviews and I can live with a less than Samsung UI. Do I pull the trigger now with current offer from Motorola, or wait until July 22 for the Samsung unpacking event to verify no S-Pen?? Thanks for any feedback in advance.
LUIGI'S MANSION 3DS VERSION! I feel like a little kid admitting that I was somewhat sad at the end, knowing the game was done. What a great game and the 3DS graphics still amaze me. I'm going to play Luigi's Mansion 2 Switch edition next. At 57, I will finish all the games on my Max when I'm..... Who am I kidding, I'll never finish but I'll die happy knowing I tried 😄
