Half Baked!

Half Baked!

I’m assuming we’re not allowed to share our faces or anything so I wish I could show all my half baked pics but my husband and I made “half baked” brownies for my 20 weeks milestone today! Only 20 more weeks now until I can meet my baby boy 💙

Am I wrong to feel this way

Hi everyone, I am new to the whole being a mom and being pregnant thing. I am just here to ask if it’s wrong for me to feel this way. So I am 17 weeks pregnant with a baby boy, and I am over the moon happy and so is my husband, things have been going so good for us and I always have good news to share, but Ive also had a lot of unfortunate things happen.. one of my best friends ended up finding out she was pregnant a month before me, I was so so excited for her and we were even more excited when we found out we were pregnant together! But she unfortunately didn’t carry her baby full term, she lost her baby and I cried and cried and I felt so bad for her and I was so upset I couldn’t do anything for her. But I tried my best to be there for her.. then another one of my friends thats mutual between my husband and I had found out she was pregnant on the same day as me, and we were excited too.. then she lost the baby a few days later. And now my BEST best friend she’s been there since highschool, she found out she was pregnant super recently, we were very excited for her because she had been trying for 6 months for her 2nd baby, and now yesterday night she lost her baby.. now thats 3 of my close friends who lost their babies, and here I am still pregnant carrying my baby and I can’t help but feel guilty? I feel bad that I have my baby still when I’m around them and I feel like I cannot talk about my baby or share any news or milestones with my friends because of the fact they all went through something so hard. It’s just crazy and sad to me how so many people around me who found out at the same time, lost their babies and I kept mine. It makes me ask why me? Why do I get to keep my son but they lose their future babies, I am still so grateful I have my baby and I wouldn’t want anything to ever happen to him he is my motivation my joy but now I feel I have to suppress how I feel about my baby when I’m around the only people I really feel like I can talk to. Am I selfish for feeling this way? Is it wrong of me to think this way. I don’t know. It just makes me so sad. I wish I could help so much more than I actually can. I love my friends.

Found babies heartbeat on at home doppler

Finally found my baby boys heartbeat on a at home fetal doppler borrowed from a friend, and it’s the best feeling hearing those little whooshes I love my baby so much and am so excited to meet him, I am 16 weeks tomorrow and just so happy! Btw I don’t recommend a doppler for moms with high anxiety because it took a minute to find him at home and I don’t want anyone sending themselves into a panic, but just know all our babies are growing wonderfully and are healthy little beans ❤️❤️
