Are there any non-native Danish speakers here who started learning the language as an adult and managed to get to C2 level in Danish?

How long did it take for you to get to C2 in Danish and what did you do to get to that level?

Edit: Since C1/Studieprøven is the highest level attainable in Danish this post would apply for those who speak Danish at a C1 level as well!

Would you be sad if you were to remain single for the rest of your life?

Assuming that you have family and friends around you that love and care for you, so you aren’t lonely. Would you still feel sad and unfulfilled if you never find a romantic partner for the rest of your life?

Reading stories like these really pisses me off and makes me hate corporations even more

Saw this comment on TikTok. It’s crazy how these corporations have 0 empathy for their employees.

How do people not lose their mind working 9-5 jobs for 40+ years

So I’m a fairly recent graduate and I’ve been working a 9-5 job for a few months now, and I honestly can’t imagine doing this for the next 40+ years of my life until I retire.

Office jobs basically feel like high school again, everything you do and say are closely monitored by the company, you have to ask for permission to take a day off to go to a doctor’s appointment (also your leave has to be approved, the company can reject your request to take time off), and if you do something wrong you’ll be punished in the form of getting verbal warnings and write-ups. Sitting at a desk and staring at a computer screen for 8 hours a day while being closely monitored makes me feel like a prisoner and it’s driving me insane… And after working 8 hours everyday for 5 days a week I barely have any time and energy left for myself, so I basically have no life outside of work. I commute 3 hours everyday to and from work, so once I get home from work I only have a few hours left to myself before I have to go to bed again, and then it’s rinse and repeat for the next day. The only time where I actually feel alive and energised is during the weekend…

Every morning on my way to my bullshit job I think to myself: how do so many people work 9-5 jobs for 40+ years of their lives and not go crazy???

Dreading going back to work again next week

I’m currently on a break as I took this entire week of work, but now that it’s Friday and the end of the week, I’m feeling the dread come back again knowing that I have to go back to work next Monday……

Just the thought of it instantly makes my stomach sick and I feel like throwing up again, just like I do every morning on my way to work. I’m not kidding when I said I hate my job so much that I feel physical symptoms from it……

I freaking hate my job and wish I could just quit on the spot but I can’t quit now bc I need the money.

I REALLY DONT WANNA GO BACK TO WORK NEXT WEEK AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Is 3 sprays of Eau de Parfum too much?

A friend of mine said he uses only 2 sprays of Eau de Toilette and that’s strong enough for him. I use Eau de Parfum everyday and I do 3 sprays and its stronger than Eau de Toilette, is that too much? I love perfumes and smelling good but I’m worried about having “perfume blindness” and overwhelming the people around me 😅

I hate my job so much to the point that every morning on the way to work I feel a sense of dread that is so strong I actually feel like throwing up physically. Thankfully it’s temporary and I’m only going to be working this job until the end of summer but every day feels like hell and I die internally every single day when I have to go to work 😭 How are people pushing through going to work at jobs that they hate every single day? Any tips that would help me push through the next few months working would be much appreciated 😭😭😭
