Decided to give Burntrap a (very rough) makeover
MXES Concept
Price: 6250
In-Game Name: The Program
Shop Quote: “Where do you think you’re going?”
Health: 5500
Speed: 13
Run Speed: 22
Stamina: 65
Passive 1: Survivors within a 20 stud radius will have a small static effect over their screen, making it slightly harder to see. The survivors' UI will also visually glitch out on their screen but be otherwise unaffected.
Passive 2: The MXES machine will unobtrusively spawn on the map. Survivors cannot interact with it, nor can the killer. It is purely for decoration.
Swing (M1): Swing your fist. Deals 25 damage
(Cooldown: 2.15 seconds)
Ability 1: Security Nodes (Q)
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Teleport cooldown: 7.5 seconds
MXES can spawn up to 5 security nodes and teleport to them. Survivors who pass through the security nodes become highlighted to the killer. Teleporting next to a survivor will jumpscare them, similarly to Ruin. Security Guards can highlight the nodes.
Ability 2: Glitch Barrier (E)
Cooldown: 20 seconds
MXES will spawn a 10 stud wide barrier with a maximum of three at a time. Survivors who pass through will take 10 damage plus 5 seconds of bleed damage and have a glitch effect around them. This also applies the visual effect of the abilities glitching out but, again, does not actually affect them in any way.
Ability 3: Through Your Eyes (R)
Cooldown: 15 seconds - 35 seconds
Cancel Cooldown: 2.5 seconds - 5 seconds
Just like a Technician, MXES can phase through certain obstacles to cut off Survivors. Phasing will reduce the timer, and you can cancel the ability for a shorter cooldown. It will also force you into first person. The ability’s strength scales depending on the number of Technicians in the match. No Technicians only allows for 1 phase, 1 Technician allows for 2 phases, and 2+ Technicians allows for 3 phases.
Well that's not a very nice way to talk about your daughter
Four of the major FNAF YouTubers, possibly even The Big Four, (and more that I likely haven't seen) can't even play VR mode on release and have to wait an indeterminate amount of time so they can stream it/make videos on it. The one marketing lifeline Steel Wool and Scott have begun to rely on can't even promote this release because they can't even play it. Who was this made for? How did this even happen? This is absolutely asinine.
Like the title says, if you have any mods for SOTM installed right now, MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THEM TO AVOID THE GAME CRASHING ON BOOT AFTER THE VR PATCH. To be extra sure, go to your Steam Library > SOTM > Settings (Gear/cog on the right side of the screen) > Properties > Installed Files > Verify Integrity of Installed Files. This will make sure that your game is properly installed and the mods were properly removed.
