Vegan queer meetup?

Hello! 23 y/o vegan & anarchist bisexual guy here! Recently moved to LA, and am in desperate need of queer vegan friends - none of my gay friends are vegan! Don't even get me started on dating! If you are queer and vegan, drop a comment! We could do a meetup or even a queer speed dating event!

[NSFW] I hooked up with a meat eater and I nearly threw up after.

Since becoming vegan over a year ago, I haven't really hooked up with anyone. Recently I started having sex again (hey, it's Pride Month), and I've hooked up with this one guy who is also vegan. I have never had a problem with his smell at all, when he sweats it smells a bit musty and masculine, but nothing gag-worthy. Last night I hooked up with a meat eater, and at the beginning things were fine, but as we started having sex this horrible smell started to happen. I stopped the sex and claimed I was too tired to continue, but even once he was out the door I could still smell it. I realized it was his SWEAT and that I was covered in it. Even after showering twice and airing out the whole room it's still lingering in my nostrils. Later I messaged him asking if he eats meat and it turns out he's a big meat eater. Oh my god, never again. Is this doomed to happen with every meat eater?

What would a planet look like if most volcanic eruptions were carbonatite eruptions?

I just learned about the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano and how it's the only known active carbonatite volcano. Made me wonder, what if on an exoplanet the script was flipped and most volcanoes were carbonatite instead of silicate? Would the planet's geology, given the presence of a water cycle, be subject to increased weathering and create karst-like topography?

How to get optimal sleep as an early riser who works for raves on the weekend?

Hey everyone, I've always been at my core an early riser, I am so much more productive and alert when I am able to wake up early (6-7am) then when I sleep in. However, I work in A/V for raves, so oftentimes on the weekends I end up staying up til sunrise multiple days in a row. This leads me to sleeping in all day, throwing off my schedule for the next week. What's the best way to maintain a consistent sleep schedule and get enough sleep? Should I shift my wake up time to 8 am and take naps on the weekend? Or just power through? Or just find another field of work?
