Driver didn’t understand the words “AC” or “air conditioner”

I’ve never left a review before. And I just joined this community, thanks for having me!

Here’s my story-
It was a 98 degree day in my area. I asked to turn the AC on as soon as I got in the car.

When we pulled out of my driveway, I asked again and she kind of mumbled something at me.

At the first red light, I asked her very clearly, please turn the AC on. It’s very hot, please. She said she didn’t understand and then pointed to the red light and her GPS as if she couldn’t do more than one thing.

Now we’re at the second light I’m still sweating and the AC is only on low pointed at her. I said again very clearly, and now with an aggravated tone,
Can you please turn the ac on higher, can you please put the AC on higher? I repeated myself several times. (Now that I’m typing this I guess I should’ve said lower, but I wanted the air to be blowing higher so idk.)

She suddenly understands me with the same words I’ve been using and turns the dial up to blow more air. Additionally, the back vent wasn’t blowing any air. And yes, I tried to move the center toggle. I didn’t bother saying anything or addressing it. I just pushed over to the center to try to get some air.

I think she wasn’t trying to turn the AC on because it was a short trip and the AC uses gas. No idea. It was also an extra comfort ride or whatever they call it, so I felt like there was no reason I should be sweating in the backseat.

I guess I just came here to vent (ha, vent). Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Maybe an unpopular opinion

Going back to earlier episodes, when everyone was talking about why Rosie got fired. And she told everyone it was because she got colitis.

But, Kelsey saying she heard from someone who use to work with Rosie, that no, she got fired for sleeping with so and so, at her job.

Idk about you guys. But if something embarrassing happens. And you’re able to, maybe bend the story a bit in your favor and save face. In my opinion, you’re allowed to do that.
She doesn’t owe these girls the absolute truth, she just met them. And let’s say her firing did line up with having colitis, then who really cares. This is obviously also being filmed, so Rosie has every right to protect her peace.

I also think that we have plenty of instances of Kelsey being crude, so knowing her more throughout the series I’m not surprised she took this stance

Why is no one talking about this?

Why is no one talking about how Joellen doubled down on being invited to Rulla’s party 😂😂😂

I don’t think I wasn’t invited, I just think she knew I was busy.

GIRL!!!! Lmaoooo. I could not tell if she was joking or not. She said it again in the podcast
