The female eyes

I am fascinated by the female eyes/soldiers/police that came for Becca. Who are they? What are their lives like?

I hope we see more of them. Maybe one of the girls would become one. Shu would be a perfect eye since she notices everything and may not be fertile.

Who do you think will die?

It seems likely that someone is going to die by the season end. They need to raise the stakes and something needs to radicalize Agnes (or at least wake her up).

From the beginning, they have been teasing Hulda. This makes sense because she is not savvy enough to survive Gilead. But it has been so heavy handed that it feels like a misdirect.

Rosa is at risk. Agnes loves Rosa so it would definitely impact her. And it has been set up by the writers since Paula dislikes her.

But I think that is a misdirect too. I feel like the writers want us to be shocked so that we experience Agnes's shock.

So, my latest theory is Garth. This would feel like it came out of nowhere (even though he is a spy) and Agnes would be devastated. In fact, it could be set up that she is at least partially responsible. It does take Garth out for the rest of the series. But as much as I love the character and the performance, I feel like his part of the story can be replaced. Agnes isn't going to keep pining over him. And he isn't integral to the story otherwise.

Thoughts?

For the past couple of years I've noticed I sometimes felt vaguely ill while grocery shopping. Dizzy and a little sweaty. Like I just wanted to sit down. A couple of months ago I actually had to abandon my cart and go sit in my car.

It was so weirdly specific that I figured it was just stress. Until I finally googled "why do I feel sick in the grocery store?" Turns out this is a thing. I have supermarket syndrome.

I have done three vestibular rehab sessions and I am already doing much better. Why didn't I trust that this wasn't just stress?

I talk here all the time about trusting your body, but sometimes it is hard to practice what you preach.

Oh, and I also learned that the nausea I always feel right after pooping is actually do to a blood pressure drop caused by abdominal muscle contraction. Who knew?
