VAT cut on household electricity bills will not apply in NI
A VAT cut on household electricity bills announced by the prime minister will not apply in Northern Ireland.
Instead Stormont ministers will get extra money from the UK government to use on cost of living measures.
In Great Britain the VAT rate on electricity bills will be cut from 5% to 0% in October, saving the typical customer £45.
The amount of money coming to Northern Ireland and how and when it will be spent is so far unclear.
The VAT cut is not being applied in Northern Ireland because of complications related to the region's Brexit deal.

Harm reduction vs days without pulling
Right now it feels impossible for me to go entirely pulling free but what I’m trying to do right now is reduce the pulling by playing with my hair. I’ve kept this secret from my husband because he is the type to try to ‘help’ me by saying ‘hair’ every time I even touch my head or he sees out of the corner of my eye, which is not helpful a then I just pull in secret!! Ive never asked him to do this btw!! But lately we’ve been a bit distant from each other (wonder why 🤷🏼♀️😂) and I’ve been trying it my way. And I find I can resist the pull for longer if I can just touch my head. I know this probably flies in the face of CBT (I also hate CBT anyway) but it might work for me. I’ve not found a way of recording or measuring this though!! I really want to get to the point where I can run my fingers through my hair and it all be normal!!!

Freezer space for rent
Does anyone know of a business in Northern Ireland which would be able to rent out spare freezer capacity for a couple of weeks? It’s not a lot of stuff so I would rather not go through the hassle or expense of hiring an entire freezer truck when I only need to put a few bags of things into it. It could be that I’m just using the Google search terms wrong but if anyone knows of this type of service, please let me know. Obviously, I’m not just asking to use a randomer’s chest freezer for a couple of weeks. That would be weird. I’m looking for a business model that already exists that I could avail of.

Where’s good to go for dinner on Monday night
Sadly this year my birthday falls on a Monday and so I know choices are limited: looking for something better than sugar rays/diner and maybe not as expensive as merchant/muddlers club/sux by nico. Also doesn’t have to be city centre. Any ideas?
