We owe eachother everything.

I have been noticing how we treat kindness as some sort of transaction. I don't think we've been put on this earth to weigh who did what more. We are fundamentally modelled to care for others, to treat them with dignity and respect. We are so focused on protecting our peace that we've lost sight of how ridiculously lonely we are becoming in this world. There is love inside all of us, and we build our civilisation together, and we thrive in community. I wish people realised the beauty of community and being there for each other.

This is life ig..

I signed up for Reddit to figure out what this app actually is. It's been two years, and I still have no idea what this app does.

Then my life began to fall apart. Not that it was doing much better before, but somehow I managed to fall even lower than rock bottom. On top of that, my dear catto gave birth to four kittens. I already had six cats, including the mother, and now I've got ten.

I love them to death, and they keep me sane. But as we all know, love is not enough. It won't get you everything, especially not in this economy.

So I decided to do what people apparently do these days and ask Reddit to help me find homes for my kittens. I made a funky poster and posted it on a few random subs. Most of them got deleted because, apparently, we're not allowed to advertise there. Again, I have no idea how this place works.

I did get a few inquiries, and some people said they wanted to adopt a kitten. Happy news, right? Finally, they'll get a home. But no.

The kittens were only two weeks old at the time, so I told the adopters I would contact them again in a few weeks. When I eventually reached out, I was met with complete silence. My heart broke.

By then, my mother's patience had started wearing thin. I can't entirely blame her, I guess. There were ten cats roaming around the house. I couldn't let them go outside because there are dozens of dogs around and our house doesn't have a fence.

Then came the constant complaints, the hurtful comments, the shouting. A person can only take so much.

Eventually, I had to let the cats outside. My sweet babies loved it. The funny thing is that the moment I called them, they would all come running back to me.

One day, they were playing outside when I suddenly heard loud barking. I ran out and saw my baby Mishku in the mouths of two dogs. I ran toward them. They dropped him and ran away. Mishku was alive.I rushed him to the hospital, and after two weeks of treatment, he was back to his old self.

By now, you'd think my mother would be okay with keeping the cats inside. Unfortunately, no.

A few weeks later, the complaints started again. More hurtful words. More slammed doors. More complaints to anyone who would listen.

I think my cat understood the atmosphere in the house. One morning, I found the window screen open. None of my cats were home. I went out and found five of them. Mishku was missing. I thought he'd come back, so I went inside and started cleaning their litter box.

When I came back out to throw away the litter, I found him dead under a tree. I could hear my blood flowing through my veins. I stood there for fifteen minutes. Then I realized I had to bury him. So I did.

Today is the 10th of June, and it has been 48 days since I lost him.

Now surely my mother would understand, right? Sorry to say but nope.

So I got three of my cats spayed. One is left. I started trying to put them up for adoption. I made Instagram posts, Facebook posts, contacted animal rescue groups, and even reached out to influencers. So far, nothing.

And here I am.

Helpless. Exhausted. Terrified that I'll have to let them outside again.

I wish the world were kinder to strays. If you ever get the chance to take in a kitten, do it.

I regret nothing. They are the reason I am alive today.

This will probably be my last post on Reddit because I still don't understand how any of this works.

Adios, amigos.

PS: adding the pics of my cats because they are awesome and I love them.

Sahridhayare...

I’m looking for homes for four kittens 🐾

I already have six cats at home, and as much as I want to keep them, I genuinely can’t afford to care for four more. My mother also won’t allow me to keep additional cats, so I’m trying my best to find them safe and loving homes instead of leaving them without proper care.

They’re playful, adorable, and deserve people who can give them attention and a stable home.

If you’re interested in adopting, or know someone who might be able to help, please DM me. Serious adopters only.

Maybe we should think on our own.

I don't remember when we started to overly rely on AIs to rewrite our thoughts so that it will look 'perfect'. What is this need for ours to look flawless. When are we going to realise we are slowly losing our own thoughts and ideas. When was the last time you formed a thought that is your own? Are we aware that AI is making us dumb?

Give me your half formed thoughts with countless errors, let us sit together and make sense of it.

In other words. WRITE YOUR OWN EMAILS AND LOVE LETTERS.
