EDD says they received my “Physician or Practitioner Supplementary Certificate” before I even submitted the DE 2525XX form?

I’m confused about a California SDI text I received. I am in the period of working on my extension.

My original SDI claim was filed completely by mail, not online. My doctor’s office also specifically told me they ONLY do disability paperwork through paper forms/mail and do not submit things electronically.

EDD mailed me the DE 2525XX Physician/Practitioner’s Supplementary Certificate form for my extension, but I have NOT been given back the physical form from my doctor yet and nothing has been mailed back yet as far as I know. I literally gave them the form yesterday morning and they likely haven’t even gotten to it because it takes them a few days.

But today I got a text from EDD saying:
“We received your Physician or Practitioner Supplementary Certificate.”

What exactly does this mean? Is EDD referring to something else besides the actual DE 2525XX paper form? Has anyone had this happen before where EDD says they received the supplementary certificate before the paper form was even submitted?

Had my second brain surgery recently. Have been dealing with emotions such as intense anger, definitely exasperated by my cycle. I also have endometriosis and other health issues.

I am on medical leave and haven’t been this idle in so long. I am making a career change from tech to becoming a registered dietitian, but anywhere in healthcare is of interest to me. I am excited for this change, but worried about the time it will take to complete.

I have a lot of hurt centered around my mother. My sisters also have issues around our mother. I constantly feel like I have to forgive, grieve a mother I never had, accept my mother for who she is and appreciate her how she is, get hurt and repeat the cycle.

I am getting engaged soon.
