I kept reading threads about the plastic hood latch mounts cracking on the 1-series. Mine already started to crack.

Did some digging and found a product called the Hood Saver made by 3D Fusion Labs - it’s a reinforcement that fits under the latch mount points to redistribute the stress. Installed in about 10 minutes, no drilling. Been on there through a full season now with now issues and no more cracking

Cheaper than $600 for a new hood and decals.
