App count goes up and down randomly

Have an Android phone it will show usually 1 more app than what I have when I scan. I've checked system app says 1 thing and malwarebytes shows another. No issues or detections. It's been doing this for a little while now. Is this normal?

Help with sixth and final ball for tournaments/sport shots.

I'm trying to fill the 6th and final spot in my tournament arsenal and would appreciate some recommendations.

I am more partial to Storm, Roto-grip, and 900 global.

My current bag is:

Storm Mix

Storm Tropical Surge

Storm Concept

Storm Phaze II

900 Global Vengeance

My thought is that I might be missing something cleaner downlane, maybe a pearl or a good transition ball, but I'm open to other suggestions.

Does anyone else avoid buying plugged bowling balls?

I've been looking around eBay for some new and used bowling balls. I always seem to gravitate toward NIB (new in box) deals and usually avoid balls that have already been drilled.

If I do buy used, I mostly look for balls that were drilled for two-handed bowlers because they only have two finger holes. They're easy to plug, and I figure there's a lower chance that the drilling reached the core.

Is that a normal way of thinking? Does a ball really perform that much differently if it's been plugged once, even if it originally had two finger holes and a thumb hole?

I'd love to hear your opinions and experiences!

Pro shop owners. Does it make you mad when someone brings in a new ball to be drilled?

This is a question that me and a couple of friends of mine were talking about.

Do pro shop owners get upset if someone brings in a brand new ball for them to drill that they didn't purchase at the pro shop?

I know at my PSO they don't seem to mind however the drilling is just a little bit more expensive by a few dollars. I have bought several new balls from them in the past.

What is your opinions about this topic? Is there anything special someone should do before bringing a new ball in to a PSO that they didn't buy from them?

Opinions on Storm Next Factor

I have been looking at this ball for a while now. My PSO has a sale going on and I'm tempted to buy one. First I was looking at a Phaze II Pearl but then this offer came up. I know it's going to be later and stronger than the Phaze II Pearl.

What is your opinions about it?

I'm a 1 handed thumb in bowler. 15-16 mph about 250-300 revs.

How to bowl cheetah with my arsenal?

Looking at possibly bowling a sport shot soon. And I found out it was the cheetah pattern. I currently don't have a urethane ball just my urethane-like ball my concept.

My current arsenal is

Storm ice spare ball

Storm tropical surge

Storm concept

Storm phaze 2

900 global vengeance

My current idea was start with the concept and then maybe move to the surge. But I'm open to suggestions.

Need Help Filling a Pearl Transition Ball Slot

Looking for some advice on a pearl transition ball.

Current arsenal is mostly Storm, Roto Grip, and 900 Global. I'm looking for something that will give me a little more skid through the fronts compared to some of my benchmark and stronger pieces as the lanes start to transition.

I've been looking at the Phaze II Pearl mainly because I really like my regular Phaze II solid, but I don't know if that's the best fit for what I'm after. Someone also suggested the Vengeance Returns, but since it's a hybrid I'm not sure how it would compare in that spot.

For reference:

* Ball speed: 15-16 mph

* Rev rate: ~300

* One-handed, thumb in

Thanks!

Looking for a Bowling Analytics Tracker Similar to Lanetrax ( Android )

Hey everyone,

I've been looking for a good bowling analytics/tracking app for Android similar to Lanetrax.

I'm not just looking for something that tracks scores—I’d love an app that can help me see trends in my game over time, track spare shooting, averages, ball usage, lane notes, or anything else that can help me improve.

For those of you who use Android, what apps are you using?

I'd also be interested in hearing about any apps that offer more detailed stats or insights, even if they're not specifically marketed as analytics tools.

What has worked best for you?

Thanks! 🎳

Thumb tendon soreness?

I bowled a tournament about a week ago. I kept getting hung up in the ball and I was squeezing it after taking out tape. But I have this soreness in the crease of where my thumb meets my palm ( right where my thumb slug rests in the crease ) It doesn't really hurt but just sore. Tired to bowl yesterday ( not squeezing) it still tender and sore.

Going to take another week off. Any other suggestions or has anyone else had this issue before?

Jopo twist thumb sides up and down

I've been having a slight issue where my Jo Po twist thumb on my Storm Concept seems like it moves up and down once it's locked in about maybe a couple of millimeters. Just enough at the top of my backswing to where I can feel it slide down slightly and makes me grab at it. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue or not or maybe it needs a new sleeve?

I've only had about 15 games on it so it should still be tight.

Title should be "slides"
