Hey guys,

I see so many negative VM experiences with the game I wanted to share a good one I had just last week.

I’m a grown man with tattoos. I tend to wear sweatpants/shorts to the grocery store. I’m sure people look at me think “scalper”. I started collecting Pokémon back in the early 00s as a young boy and rip everything I purchase.

Anyway, I went up to the VM and saw a little boy tapping on it. There was a surging sparks pack available. With no adult to be seen, I asked the boy if he’d like me to buy him the pack.

His eyes lit up and he said “yes! Please”. I bought it for him and he went skipping away to his mother who said “you don’t have a nice mom but there’s nice strangers” lol.

The VM refreshed after purchase with another surging sparks pack which I bought myself. There was another guy waiting behind me so I let him check the refresh. He even asked me if I was sure I didn’t want to check the refresh myself. I said go ahead brother all you and he hit on a surging sparks pack as well!

Nobody hauled but we all got a little piece and it felt great to make a special moment like that for the little guy.
