Should I keep these shoes or return them ?

I bought these for daily hiking/walking with my dog (about 1.5 hours a day on mountain trails).

I’ve had pretty crappy and worn-out shoes until now and I wanted something that would be better for my lower back knees and ankle issues and somebodt said that trail rubning shoes would be the best for that.

These were by far the most comfortable shoes I tried in the store but now that I’m wearing them around the house I feel really weird walking in them because of the huge platform.

I also don’t love how they look , they feel very bulky and noticeable.

I’m wondering whether this is something I’d simply get used to.

Would you keep them for the comfort and support or return them and look for something less bulky? I’m mainly interested in what’s best for my body rather than aesthetics but honestly I really dislike how they look these kind of trail shoes.
Any advice from people who hike regularly would be appreciated.

Dust mite allergy (high IgE) and chronic fatigue / brain fog for years. Could it be connected?

I'm a 42F and I was recently diagnosed with a pretty significant dust mite allergy. My specific IgE for Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus is 52.1 ku/L (class 5) and I also tested positive on the Phadiatop panel.

The weird thing is that I don't have what I'd consider "classic" severe allergies all the time.

Sometimes I get some flare-ups and antihistamines definitely help, maybe an itchy ear, a few random sneezes, a bit of nasal congestion... nothing that has ever made me think that my allergies are really bad.

What has bothered me my whole life, though, is constant fatigue and brain fog.

Im always tired!!

I've felt tired since I was very young. It's like I never have the energy other people seem to have. My brain often feels cloudy, it's hard to concentrate, and I always thought this was just me.

I've had a lot of blood work done over the years and everything keeps coming back normal except for this allergy.

My GP is referring me to an allergist to see if I'm a candidate for immunotherapy (allergy shots) and honestly I'm trying not to get my hopes up but part of me wonders if this could actually explain at least some of the fatigue and brain fog.

Has anyone here had chronic fatigue or brain fog that actually improved after starting immunotherapy? Or am I just looking for a connection that probably isn't there?

I'd really love to hear your experiences.

Thank you!!!

Last day in Rome what to do?

We have been in Rome for 2 days, and we are leaving today at 4:30 pm to go to the airport. We've been in the tourist areas (mamma mia, so crowded and crazy), as well as in Garbatella and Pigneto. It's now 9 am, and we don't know what to do until 4:30. Any suggestions? Thanks!

My iPhone 12 (64GB) is almost unusable because storage is full.

My iPhone 12 (64GB) is almost unusable because storage is full.

Current storage:

Photos: 13.7 GB
WhatsApp: 10.1 GB
Etc.

But the biggest issue seems to be IOS + System Data which take a massive amount of space.

I already deleted videos, apps, WhatsApp files, duplicates, etc. iCloud backup hasn’t worked in months because storage is also full.

iTunes on Windows detects the iPhone partially but still won’t show it properly.

What would you do at this point?

I l’d appreciate any help

On the other side everything is information and love. What does it mean "information"?

Moody said that what NDErs consistently report is that on the other side everything is love and information/knowledge.

The love part I kind of get cause every NDE account talks about it and we've heard it a thousand times.

But about information? What does Moody mean by information/knowledge?

Because here, in this world, we also have information everywhere all the time. More than any human being in history has ever had access to (podcasts, channels, books, experts, studies, etc) and yet we don't seem wiser.

Genuinely curious. Thanks!
