Looking for advice for struggling kid

Hi all, I browsed and searched and read all I could everywhere online. I'm looking for advice.

my kid is 7, repeated kinder twice and was forced into 1st grade. he's in after school speech and ot twice a week, and ABA twice a week. he has an IEP for speech, ot, and "special education" to help with reading and handwriting for a total of 2 hours a week. he's diagnosed autism 1.

He cannot read. He can barely recognize letters, and the ones he does know take a few seconds to register. I've been reading to him almost daily since he was born. we've done sight words. we've done letters on flashcards. Bob books. tested for everything under the sun. he's on level in math, can tell you anything about insects or the moon, but cannot read. we have an hour daily limit on screens, and most days are zero screen time. I've followed every single rule to teach your kid to read and it's like teaching a brick wall. Local teachers point out that most 7 year olds are struggling but I'm just stuck because I know I "did everything right" and nothing has worked. does anyone have any unconventional ideas? things that have worked on the students struggling most? I'm in a very rural, very poor area and I'm so close to pulling him for homeschool, upping his ABA, and focusing mostly on reading, because no one outside of his ABA program is taking me seriously about it!

I don't want to hound his teacher, she doesn't get paid enough for the work she's doing and I know she can't give just one kid special treatment, but I'm just at an absolute loss on how to help me son. please help.

Children's box set of nursery rhymes and poetry from the 90's

I received them from an aunt who always gave me wonderful "fancy" books, around 1998 but it could be older. There were 3 books in a box, and all were shiny white. They were smaller than normal books, about 3/4 size. Each one has a picture and tale either on each page, or facing each other, I can't remember. The only thing I can remember is a story about a goose, and the king with his finger in a pie. Part of me wants to say The Rose by Langston Hughes may have been in them as well, but I might have just picked that up from a different book I had at the same time.

The title on the box definitely mentioned Children and may have had a goose on it.

Pixel 9 pink line - replace or new screen?

Title kind of says it all. My 9 just started flashing a pink vertical line today. I dropped it 5 months ago and cracked a corner, so I knew something like this would happen eventually.

However, I can't figure out if this is a thing that getting new screen will fix, or if I need to go ahead and order a new phone before this one completly bites the dust. I have the money for either, but the local phone fixing place said it could cost up to $400 without looking at it. A new 8 is $450 so I'm unsure.

I did search this first but it seems mostly to happen to 9 Pro and no one's said much besides "get it fixed".

kindle paperwhite 11th gen help

2 hour update: i'm stuck on KUAL.

"Copy the Update_KUALBooklet_*_install.bin file to your Kindle's mrpackages folder"
But it's only giving me Update_KUALBooklet_HDRepack.bin
I'm looked into the PEKI way but I need to find the directions again because i put the files where it said do, but don't understand how to run them. Any help would be appreciated.

I've searched for hours about this and gone through every link listed here and can't figure this out. I promise I'm tech savvy, but very new to jailbreaking.

The back of my kindle says the model is M2L3Ek. Is this model of kindle just un-jailbreakable, or am i looking at the wrong thing?

Otherwise I already stuffed it so it won't update again while I've been trying to figure this out. I'm on version 5.18.6 and I'm looking at using nosebleed if it's possible.

2 minute update: I just found the serial number checker on kindlemodding. I have no idea how I've missed that GIANT BUTTON for over a year. I don't think I would have found it without embarrassing myself. WIsh me luck!
