Mental health counseling done at any local schools?

are there any schools locally that offer free/low cost mental health services/counseling done by students? i am struggling with anxiety due to a big life change, and can’t afford most therapy options due to the fact that i don’t have insurance.

Does anyone else get shocked when other autistic women are rude/mean to them?

there’s a girl at my job that i know is autistic (she told me), and half the time she is so rude that is shocks me ! for example, if i ask her how to do something, she’ll roll her eyes and say, “literally all you have to do is this 🙄” she treats me like i’m stupid. i’ll admit, my social cues and social skills are worse than hers’. there have been times where if a customer asks me something, and i can’t comprehend what they’re saying, she’ll break it down for me. so i guess that’s “nice”, but she can be awfully rude and condescending and i’m shocked because we’re both autistic women working in a place (retail) that would be difficult for most autistic people so why are you treating me like that 😐 like we both know the struggle so let’s just be kind and empathetic towards each other? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Is there anyone who has gotten a degree AND been able to maintain their job in their chosen career path?

I see a lot of discussions about people on this sub getting an education, graduating, and once they start working a job in their chosen career field that aligns with their degree, they burn out. Which makes perfect sense, but has anyone NOT experienced that?? and has a success story?

I think I’m like half recovered from the autistic burn out that I’ve been experiencing over the last few years, and that’s due to working VERY part time. like 8 hours a week at most right now. I rely on my partner, and kinda my mom financially. I also rarely go out. I’m unable to handle having many responsibilities while taking care of myself. I have ambitions, goals. I wish I could be a copy editor or archivist, but I’m scared of chasing after those dreams for so many reasons (lack of funds, debt from previous scholastic endeavors that I failed at, the economy, a lack of jobs). I’m honestly not even sure if I could work these jobs due to the fact that I know that my baseline for exertion is very, very low (I also have thalassemia, I believe that ties into me not being able to handle a lot of responsibility outside of caring for myself alongside having autism). I just wanted to hear some success stories to encourage me.

How much would you charge to set a moissanite?

Hypothetical scenario: if i had a ring made with cz as the center stone, generally speaking, how much would it cost to replace the cz with my own moissanite?
