First off, I approved this post with a mod before posting. Just wanted to clarify that.

Can someone advise me on what I need to do to get an interview at first watch? What kind of experience they look for? Full disclosure, I don’t have a lot of management experience but i do have a lot of leadership, “head server” if you will, experience. I want to move to management but can’t do late nights like all the company I work for offer. Thanks for the advice!

All things considered where have yall had the best success in this job? Small towns, the largest cities(NYC, LA, chi) rust belt revivals, resort towns? Where are you now and what’s working / has worked best for you? I feel like I’m constantly chasing and catch smoke. I need comfort and consistency-what are my best options??

I’ve recently lost interest in alcohol and don’t particularly like weed so know I don’t know what to do. I want to hang at a bar to meet guys but without a drink it feels incredibly awkward.

And sometime I just need a vice, something to wind down with, without alcohol or weed I don’t know what that vice is. It’s weird and it’s frustrating. I don’t know how to handle this newly established “sobriety” especially while looking to expand my friend group.

Anyone else go through this?
