Game seems to freeze after first fate

Hi everyone. I recently got the game after having played all of Pope's other games in the past and having enjoyed them a great deal.

It seems to somehow be bugged though. I can play the intro, go through the book and see the first death scene ("fate"?). After walking through the door to end that scene though, the screen fades to olive... and stays olive. No sounds, no nothing. No button imputs seem to do anything. The game is still "running", going off the steam FPS counter. Quitting the game and reloading the save just loads into the olive. Playing on another save is fine until going through the door again. After that: olive.

I did some looking online, but can't seem to find anyone else with the same fate (haha). Any ideas? Maybe I'm just missing some obvious gameplay thing.

Is there a way to bulk scrobble from CSV for free?

Hi everyone,

I recently lost access to my old account, and while I've been able to export all of the scrobbles from there to a CSV file, I have not managed to find a way to upload those onto my new account again.

Universalscrobbler seems promising, but it seems like that website has not been updated since 2015, and it asks money before you can even try it out. There's a 2018 git repo called "last-fm-csv-scrobbler" which seemed to work, but only scrobbled the last two weeks. Scrubbler has often been mentioned but doesn't seem to work on macos, I'd have to approve every .dll by hand in the security panel and there's over a hundred of those. It seems like itachi-re's "lastfm-scrobbler" repo is vibecoded and does not work. And bijou.fm does not have support for timestamps.

So a lot of trying stuff and a lot of stuff not working. Before I end up writing my own program using pylast (my python is very rusty), I just wanted to ask the community if there was anyone here who maybe did something like this themselves. I remember helping a friend to do exactly this years back, but the website we used back then probably doesn't exist any more.
