Hotel recs in Centro with solid wifi 🙏🏼

Hi and thank you in advance for your help!

I'm traveling to Merida at the end of November (my first visit!) and I'll have to work for a few days while I'm there. I am a graphic designer who works with large files and has the occasional Zoom call, so I need reliable wifi (at least 55+ mbps download speed) and a good desk to work from.

Does anyone know of any hotel recommendations in/near Centro or Parque Santa Ana that fit the bill? I'd be staying 4 nights and would like to keep my budget around 2,000 MXN/night (~$115 USD/night). The closest looking option I've found is the Holiday Inn Express in Centro, but if I could support a local boutique hotel vs. a hotel chain, I'd much prefer it.

My other option in the same price range is to stay at a really pretty Airbnb/casita in the Miguel Alemán neighborhood, but it would require an Uber/Didi every time I want to explore the touristy areas, which isn't ideal since my time would be limited.

Oura 5 vs Oura 4 Ceramic: Photo Comparison

Just got the new Oura 5 in gold last week, so far I love it! I've been wearing it the last 5 days and so far, no scratches (knock on wood). Here's a size comparison, they are both size 6.

I took a chance and ordered the Gen 5 without first trying their sizing kit and the size 6 fit the same for me as the Gen 4's size 6.

California DL extension question

My California DL expires at the end July. I qualify to renew online, but I am currently living out of the country and won't be able to get the new ID if it's sent to my registered address in California until later on this year, after the current ID expires. (And I don't want to risk having it lost in the mail to get to me!)

On the CA DMV's website, it says, "If you are out-of-state and cannot renew, you may request a one year extension of your driver’s license. Before your driver’s license expires, submit a request with your name, driver’s license number, birth date, California residence address, and out-of-state address to dl-extensions@dmv.ca.gov."

I emailed that address with all that info and the explanation of why I am requesting an extension. Does anyone know if I should be getting a reply and how long it might take to receive acknowledgment of my request? There's so little information out there about this and what happens next.

Thank you!
