The “Cancer” Is Gone. What’s Varas’ Excuse Now?

To the Varas and Sporting Director defenders, I'm genuinely curious... what's the excuse now?

The so-called "cancer" you blamed for everything is long gone and playing for LA Galaxy. Yet somehow, this team looks even worse.

No offense. No midfield. No defense. No identity.

Five defenders getting embarrassed by three attackers on the second goal. On the third, everyone stands around watching one guy turn and shoot like it's a Sunday pickup game.

That's not just a lack of talent. That's a lack of preparation, discipline, leadership, and accountability.

Varas looks completely out of answers, and the Sporting Director deserves just as much heat for putting this roster together.

SDFC fans deserve better. We need a new coach and at least FIVE legitimate reinforcements next season.

At some point, defending this mess stops being loyalty and starts being denial.

So tell me, who's your scapegoat now?

Reach Lastpass support without account access?

Is anyone from LastPass support active here?

We have a legacy business account that was supposedly canceled years ago, but we were charged again. The account is tied to former employees whose email addresses no longer exist.

Even recreating the alias doesn’t help because we don’t have the master password, recovery codes aren’t coming through, and too many attempts eventually lock us out of trying.

I’m not trying to access the vault — I just need Billing/Support to identify the subscription, stop future charges, and review the current one.

Every support path seems to require logging in first. Do I seriously need to book a sales meeting just to reach someone who can route this to support?

PSA for anyone who had a mini heart attack this morning

Always check the AWS Health Dashboard first: https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status

I woke up to a 2:00 AM billing anomaly email showing an Amazon EBS charge of $56.95 BILLION.

My immediate reaction? "Well... I guess it's time to update my résumé."

I sprinted back to my home office, logged into our AWS account, went straight into Cost Anomaly Detection, and started wondering how I was going to explain this one to our CFO.

Then I checked the AWS Health Dashboard.

Sure enough—it was a known Cost Explorer/Billing issue caused by incorrect estimated pricing calculations. No actual billing impact.

Turns out AWS wasn't billing me $56.95B...

They were just stress-testing IT managers everywhere. 😅

AI consulting company recommendations???

Hello fellow IT managers,

Wanted to post something quick and test the waters out there.

With AI being adopted across the landscape, I know enough to use it for my own benefit, but from a strategy, governance, security, training, and rollout standpoint, I could use some help.

Have any of you worked with an AI consulting company that you would actually recommend?

I’ve reached out to a few already, but I’m trying to find the right fit for a smaller company. My general rule of thumb on discovery calls has become: if more than two people join the first call, they are either shark consultants or probably too expensive for a smaller company.

I’m looking for practical guidance around AI strategy, governance, acceptable use, security/data protection, training, and rollout — not just a generic “AI is the future” pitch.

Any recommendations, red flags, or lessons learned would be appreciated.
