I’ve been listening to the self-titled on repeat and couldn’t believe it’s been 8 years since its release.

At first the news of his death felt like an immediate pang of grief and pain, and sickness

Then it subsided after watching the funeral, I felt I’d moved some pain along

Today it strikes again, profound sadness. I just hope he didn’t suffer. Trying not to think about that.

You were loved. So loved.

It’s very weird having pseudo-relationships with a musician that you considered a friend.
